Data: The Commodity of the Digital Age
This will be thick and fast. I’ve been writing this post for almost 15 years.
Last time I shared the content in here was 2019.
No one listened to me then. And it’s drastically evolved within the last three years.

And if you being here, listening to my anti-establishmentarianism for more than a couple posts…
you’re likely to feel just as unique.
So… may I take a stab at predicting…
maybe even isolated?

You’re going to need to sit with this letter for at LEAST a day.

Let’s move quickly.
I’ve talked about Data and how it’s the commodity of the future.
Every other commodity to have ever existed will be BACKED by Data.
Why?
Because it provides physical proof of something. Yyyyep.
All those little bits of storage in your phone,
every HDD you’ve ever rented as ‘cloud’,
every swearword you’ve said under your breath,
every loud dump you’ve taken with your phone in your hand…
All of that now exists as physical inscriptions.
What is fun to know is that the least amount of atoms to store a bit [of data] currently is 6, but with this few atoms the data can only be stored close to 0kelvin otherwise the heat will distort the atoms enough to lose the data.1
Quantum computers require 0kelvin to operate optimally.
That brings us to a couple of hot topics
AI and Quantum computers.
Take the printing press and make it look like a tinker toy.
That’s what’s about to happen.
Every experience you’ve had within an arm’s reach of your mobile phone has been recorded and uploaded to technocracies that have one business and ONE BUSINESS alone:
Data Processing.
They’re freaking GIANTS. Trillions upon trillions of dollars.
What do they do with that Data?
They MINE it.
Where do they get it from?
Your phone, computer, tablet… Your friend’s tablet.
Microphones and Cameras everywhere.
You know what they say when you agree to the terms and conditions to use their app???
“WE STRUCK GOLD”
Wait what?
You’re telling me that everything that happens to me is VALUABLE?
How is it that my random sniff from a runny nose is valuable?

That happened to me once.
Seriously. I woke up in the morning once after having pizza the night before and I got a bad case of inflammation in my sinuses. So I’m brushing my teeth as I’m listening to last night’s Phoenix Rising Radio show, where I learned a lot about what I’m talking about here…
When I leaned over to rinse my mouth, I instinctively sniffed to prevent the mucus from running down into my moustache while I’m trying to spit out my used-up toothpaste.
Yeah. Don’t do that. The toothpaste goes down your throat.
After getting through all that ordeal, I sat down at my desk [in a huff] looking to check my emails and lo and behold there was the jazz mix I’d played for my ‘extravagant’ supper.
Happy with how enjoyable it was the night before, I pressed «play»
oh damnit.. YOUTUBE AD??
and that’s when I fell back into my chair.

I’ve hadn’t seen a Dristan ad in 10 years. In fact, I have existed 42 years on this planet without ever buying one bottle.
But Dristan told Google…
“hey - you know all those customers you have?
I’ll pay you $2.50 every time you can deliver my video ad to someone who’s recently sniffed their nose.
Yes. Little packets of information about you, getting traded like a commodity.
You’re a little human resource, mining data for Data Giants.
BACK TO THE MOST IMPORTANT LETTER YOU’LL EVER READ.
How fast do giants mine compared to ants?
answer: Ant’s aren’t mining. They’re literally focused on something COMPLETELY UNRELATED.
The reason covid happened?
After computers showed us that the Printing Press was going to start looking as primitive as charred coal on walls…
Tyrants needed you to look away while they scrambled HARD to claim all sovereignty over your digital life.
This whole time, they needed you to be an ant.
But now, they have AI to do most of the ant’s work.
And so now - every piece of data is being evaluated and traded to get you to buy something else.
DATA.
GOLD.
And you’re the one ‘working the field’ like a peasant under a feudal king.
Go get some more commodities for me, peasant, and I shall permit you to keep some measly morsels before they ‘go bad’.
But only because you’ve behaved.

I told you to read this a few times.
I mean it. You’ll notice something new about yourself every time. [It’s renewing your mind]
Does that disdain for chasing money make sense now?
If not that, you must certainly feel concern for the implications of such power in the hands of government, who are historically far more brutal a destroyer than all Acts of God COMBINED.
It also makes sense why the Internet is their #1 enemy.
Are you getting it?
Can you see why the Land of the Free and the Home of the Brave rose up against King George?
and one of the most inspiring stories of civil disobedience and non-compliance won the people of this fine earth a little more time without a Tyrant.
You know how they did it?
They changed the way they did business forever.
Remember how the printing press coincided with the Exploration Age?
The peasants became free.
Americans decentralized the free press. Instantly - there was no amount of propaganda King George could distribute that could out perform the speed of truth.
And the truth set them free, too.
Back to data.
We should MINE data for ourselves.
After all, we create it. That makes it our property.
every video, every social post,
every shout, every secret
every lie, truth, feelings, speech, and emotion
every invention and every innovation
every thing we leave for our sons and daughters.
It’s all DATA.
WHEREAS you create it and is therefore… all yours
and
WHEREAS slavery in every form is internationally unlawful,
That makes the technocracies - and any who are associated with them and their CBDC - the enemy of the people.
International Criminals.
King George’s accomplices.
See where the 15-minute cities are going?
More control of the Data.
Everyone together.
Tighter sardines.
Shelter in place.
Pack ‘em and Stack ‘em.
Deep down inside, you know exactly where this ends up.
Let’s fix this.
Good news… The plan is the same as what they did for the American Revolution, it just looks a little different.
We start envelope businesses.
What’s an envelope business?
The US Postal system was how the people took back their communities, their economies, and their nation.
Sharing little packets of information.
The founding fathers - the men who raised their families in the freest nation to ever have existed - were already exchanging their goods and services amongst each other, but then - with the power of the envelope, they could expand their business to other communities.
Transporting Data…
Our knowledge,
creations,
wisdom,
values,
and anything else we’ve learned along the way…
All of them being valuable commodities. That’s our contribution. That’s where we find our gold.

Don’t be mining data for someone else. We already know that game:
The RAT RACE. Exploitation!
DON’T BE A SLAVE.
We have already started the ENVELOPE BUSINESS of DATA.
We’ve gotten so practiced at it, we forget we built it.
Let’s take ownership of our data.
